Job Description
Ruwais Marine Services (RMS) is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and contractual matters for their construction projects in Qatar. You will handle project valuations, interim payments, variation orders, and final accounts. This position is open to both local and overseas candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage bills of quantities, cost plans, and project budgets
- Process interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts
- Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and contractual claims
- Monitor project costs and report variances to project management
- Review subcontractor claims and certify payments
- Assist in procurement by evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Maintain accurate records of all financial and contractual documentation
Requirements
- BSE in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Strong knowledge of measurement methods and cost management principles
- Experience with FIDIC or similar contract forms
- Proficiency in QS software and MS Office suite
- Good understanding of construction methods and materials
- Open to local and overseas candidates
