Job Description
Ruwais Marine Services (RMS) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee marine and oil & gas construction projects in Qatar. You will be responsible for project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. This is a senior-level role requiring UPDA certification and hands-on experience in marine or oil & gas infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee marine and oil & gas construction projects from inception to completion
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Ensure all work complies with UPDA regulations, Qatar construction standards, and HSE requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare progress reports, technical submissions, and project documentation
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery
Requirements
- B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering
- UPDA Certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marine, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of Qatar construction codes and regulations
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
