Job Description
Ruwais Marine Services (RMS) is hiring an HSE Officer with 5+ years of experience in oil & gas environments. You will support the HSE team in implementing safety programs, conducting site inspections, and maintaining compliance with local and international regulations across construction and marine project sites in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety walks to identify hazards
- Assist in implementing HSE management systems and procedures
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions to workers
- Monitor compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) systems
- Maintain HSE records, incident logs, and safety statistics
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- Report HSE observations and non-conformances to the HSE Manager
Requirements
- Higher Secondary education minimum
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in oil & gas sector
- Familiarity with Qatar HSE regulations and standards
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of risk assessment and hazard identification methods
- Computer literacy for HSE documentation and reporting
