Job Description
Ruwais Marine Services (RMS) is looking for a Civil Supervisor to oversee civil construction works on oil & gas project sites in Qatar. You will supervise construction crews, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) systems. This role requires a diploma or engineering degree in civil engineering and hands-on supervisory experience in oil & gas environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction activities including concrete work, formwork, and structural works
- Ensure all work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Manage and coordinate construction crews and subcontractors on site
- Monitor progress and report daily activities to the Project Engineer
- Implement and comply with permit-to-work (PTW) systems and site safety procedures
- Conduct quality checks and inspections at various construction stages
- Maintain site records, daily logs, and material consumption reports
Requirements
- Diploma or Engineering degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Supervisor
- Experience working in oil & gas project environments
- Familiarity with permit-to-work (PTW) systems (mandatory)
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
